Fiberglass roll splint 5cm x 4.5m (2inx5yds)

Synthetic immobilization splints in a roll made of 8 (eight) special polyurethane meshes impregnated with active resin, in various sizes and 4.5m long. Externally, they are covered on both sides with a special non-woven pad, providing safety and comfort to the patient. They are used like common plaster splints, providing complete and strong immobilization of body parts with very light weight.

They are air permeable and X-RAY transparent. They adapt very comfortably and easily even to the most difficult parts of the body. They are activated after immersion in water (18° - 30° C) for 2 to 3 seconds. The formation of the splint is achieved in 3-4 minutes, while it will be able to accept free weight after about 20 minutes. Protective gloves must be used during their application.

They have a special plastic clip in order to secure the rest of the material airtight after each use (cutting). They are individually packed in an aluminum package which is marked in cm in order to precisely calculate the desired length to which the splint will be cut.
