Transparent adhesive iv film with paper frame 7 x 8.5cm

Self-adhesive Post-operative, Sterile, Hypoallergenic, latex-free, pad made of transparent polyurethane film, with a notch for catheter placement, with a frame around the perimeter for writing the date of placement or other indications and 2 additional tapes for holding the catheter.

The self-adhesive transparent carrier allows visual control of the catheter and its flow, has got an anatomical shape (dimensions are indicative and do not fully reflect the size, due to the shape of the pad),in order to fit and secure the catheter, has also got rounded edges minimizing the possibility of detachment, allows ventilation of the wound, while simultaneously providing microbial protection of the wound thus aiding in its rapid healing.

The SafeCare® IV membrane is breathable and allows the skin to breathe, but at the same time prevents the entry of microbes and liquids. They are harmonized and meet the standards defined in EN ISO 10993 [1(AC:2010)-5-7-10]:2009, but also in EN ISO 13726 (1-2-3-4):2002.

It is covered with a special cover which facilitates the safe and correct placement of the patch. When the cover is removed, it does not remove the adhesive substance and the application of the patch is easy and safe.
